The Big 4 Restaurant was established in October 1976, named for "The Big Four" famed railroad tycoons of nineteenth century San Francisco. One Market Restaurant debuted in 1993. The restaurant features an open exhibition kitchen with a special “Chef’s Table,” a wood-fired grill, and a luxurious bar. The space can host anything from a large cocktail party to a special intimate dinner. Two private dining rooms, the Club Room and the Atrium Room, can accommodate up to forty diners each, or eighty when combined by opening the cherry wood accordion doors that normally divide them.
