Every season in Richmond has a distinct aesthetic and feel that comes along with it. And when you live in a city as beautiful as ours, it would be a shame to not get some glamour shots!
Here are the 7 best spring photo ops in Richmond:
This is one of those spots in Richmond that’s beautiful no matter what time of year it is - but in the spring, this quiet garden whisks you away from the city and into a magical and far-off world. From the Koi to the gently flowing streams and waterfalls, there’s not a single view that isn’t photo worthy.
Catch those cherry blossoms while you still can! Brown’s Isle gives you the perfect backdrop to capture the beauty of the skyline, canal, and river, punctuated by beautiful cherry blossoms all in one place!
The street of gorgeous views - Monument Avenue. From the brick mansions to the monuments (it is Monument Avenue after all) and the front yard flower gardens. The best spot on Monument to snap a photo? Between Meadow St. and Boulevard.
Coming this May 4th is Richmond’s Que Pasa Festival. Bright colors, lively music, and great food, all taking place on Richmond’s beautiful canal walk!
Offering a unique perspective from which to capture Belle Isle, the skyline, and the James, the North Bank Trail can be accessed either from Oregon Hill or Texas Beach. The trail itself offers some breath-taking scenery as well, punctuated with differing environments - low brush near the river’s bank, rocky scrags and twisting hills, and of course, beautiful woods surrounding the ever-popular Hollywood Cemetery.
Strawberry Street Festival and Dominion Energy Riverrock
If you enjoy taking photos of people, both Strawberry Street Festival and Dominion Energy Riverrock are the places to be. They’re both on the same weekend (May 11th), but luckily, Riverrock is going on from the 10th-12th, so you can easily make both!
If you’re planning a special occasion, we can help make it memorable by connecting you with venues, unique events and corporate team-building activities.
