1. The 13th Annual Richmond Zombie Walk

Watch or wander with the walking dead through Carytown on Saturday afternoon. The after-parties (like this one) bring everyone back to life.

 

2. A Very Twisted Halloween

If you're a craft brew fiend, you'll find lots going on at breweries across the city. Twisted Ales plays up its brand and brings the League of Space Pirates to the table for an outdoor concert Saturday at 8 p.m., with a dance party in the taproom at 10 featuring DjXian. Plus, the Boka Tako Truck.

 

3. 17th Annual Halloween Hoopla

Maybe you have some little ones in tow? No problem: Check out this a family-friendly fright fest going on Saturday till 7 p.m. at the Children's Museum of Richmond.

 

4. Innsbrook's Pumpkin Palooza

More family fun, going on all day at Innsbrook. Take the kids and get them burning off that sugar buzz!

 

5. Halloween Masquerade at the Hof

Take the celebration to the rooftops -- just don't get too close to the edge. The Hof has costume contests, scary movies, music and more Saturday night, with three levels: Hell, Purgatory and Heaven. 

 

6. Haunted Capitol Hill Tour

And you thought Virginia's General Assembly was scary. Here's a tour that takes you back to some more frightening history, promising stories on the Haunted Executive Mansion, the Great Theatre Fire and more.

 

7. Scott's Addition Halloween Booz Crawl

Saturday night in Scott's Addition, from 6-9, you can pick up and use a Booz Crawl card for fun at Ardent Craft Ales, Black Heath Meadery, Blue Bee Cider, Buskey Cider, Isley Brewing Company, Reservoir Distillery, Three Notch'd RVA Collab House, Vasen Brewing Company and The Veil Brewing Co.

 

8. Pet Pose Off: Halloween Edition

Why should people have all the fun? Here's a way to show off your pup's costume and enter for a fre night's stay at Graduate Richmond.

 

9. Church Hill Chillers Tour

Hope the moonlight is strong on Saturday night, because you'll need to find your way out of the Church Hill shadows. This Haunts of Richmodn tour features Crazy Bet's stomping grounds, Poe's first and last love, the oldest public cemetery in Richmond and more.

 

10. Pumpkin Decorating at James River Cellars

Buy a pumpkin, get free wine. Need we say more?

 

11. Haunted History

Will you see the Gray Lady ghost this year? Expect a shiver down your spine at Tuckahoe Plantation on Monday from 4-6 p.m., for its annual Halloween festivities.

 

12. Hallowbeer Tower of Power

You may be celebrating this weekend, but a Tuesday Halloween keeps the party going into the week. On Monday, it's lots of live music and brews with Hallowbeer -- a collaboration among The Answer Brewpub, RVA Magazine & Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. 

 

13. Richmond 12th Annual Halloween Parade 2017

It's a Richmond tradition happening Tuesday night at 7, kicking off at teh corner of Main Street and Laurel. All the Saints Theater Company brings out the show, with puppetry, dancing, music and costumes. All are welcome to this inclusive event.
